Joanna Chattman is a New England based photographer who lives and works out of Greenfield Ma. After spending 12 years living and working in NYC, Brooklyn, and then briefly roughing it in a log cabin in the beautiful mountains of Idaho, she picked the Happy Valley to settle in because of its natural beauty and wonderful community of artists. Joanna attended Parsons School of Design as a photography major, but her first official foray into the industry was as a photographic stylist. She worked in that capacity for high profile clients such as Bergdorf Goodman, Glamour magazine, Young and Rubicam, and Ogilvy and Mather. Those jobs provided her the opportunity to collaborate with highly regarded teams of photographers and art directors. Her fine arts background and gift for telling stories served her well, and Joanna soon found herself with a loyal following and a perpetually booked calendar. Now, going back to her roots as a formally trained photographer, she combines her love of camera work and her passion and experience for production. Creating and collaborating on photographic projects is how she connects with the world around her.
